According to HealthReform.gov, there are many potential benefits if we reformed health care now.If we reformed health care in California nearly 10 million residents could obtain affordable coverage through the health care exchange. Around 3.8 million Californians could receive tax credits to help them buy health coverage. About 4.5 million senior citizens would receive free preventive services. 794,000 seniors would have their brand-name drug costs cut in half in the Medicare part D. Almost 400,000 small businesses in California could get help with a tax credit and would make premiums more affordable. Families, seniors, small businesses, and even the state on California would all see benefits if we give the green light to health care reform.
